Red Quinoa Organic is versatile, gluten-free, quick and easy to prepare. In fact, it is one of the three staple foods, along with potatoes and corn of the Inca civilization. Quinoa comes in a few colours - black, red, brown and yellow. In comparison to the yellow variety, Red Quinoa has a slightly earthier and nutty flavour. It makes a great alternative for couscous or white rice. It can also be used to replace any grain in cooking although it is technically not considered a grain.
